My stay at Hotel Monterey La Soeur Ginza was lovely, with comfortable and well-designed rooms. The location was fantastic, being close to Ginza's high-end shops and subway stations. While some minor issues arose, like limited power sockets in the room, the overall experience was enjoyable and the staff were incredibly helpful.

The twin room I stayed in was clean and spacious, with a quaint European vibe thanks to the decor. I appreciated the well-thought-out layout and amenities like toiletries and a mini fridge. Although there was only one pillow provided, overall, the room was comfortable and quiet, allowing for restful nights after a long day of exploration.
Service
8.0
I found the hotel staff to be very polite and eager to help. They provided thoughtful gestures like a birthday card and cookies, which really made my stay special. The only hiccup was a slight issue with bed sheets not being changed behind my request, but the staff was responsive and courteous in their attempts to resolve any other issues.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was perfect for my needs. Nestled just behind the main street of Ginza, I was minutes away from fantastic restaurants and shopping. Plus, with several subway stations close by, getting around Tokyo was a breeze. I did struggle a bit with my maps initially, but overall, it was an ideal place for exploring the city.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast options were good; I loved the gourmet French breakfast offered at the hotel. While there were additional choices available at the sister hotel nearby, I was very happy with the quality of the meals I enjoyed during my stay.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel provided excellent Wi-Fi and the bonus of a smartphone equipped for use around the city, which was super handy. It did seem to lack accessible power sockets in the room, but the staff helped me with an extension box. There were also convenient local amenities like a 7-11 next door, which made my stay all the more enjoyable.

I stayed at Hotel Monterey Lasoeur Ginza and enjoyed the great location in the heart of Ginza, just a short walk from Tokyo Station and close to many fantastic eateries. However, the room I had was quite small, which made moving around a bit challenging. The breakfast was unusual and didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, while the location is a definite plus, there are aspects of comfort and dining that could use improvement.

Rooms

My stay at Hotel Monterey Lasoeur Ginza was good overall, with an excellent location near all the action in Ginza, though the compact room size was a bit of a challenge. I enjoyed the ambiance and the French-style decor of the hotel, but I felt that the staff's limited English could be a hurdle for some. The Italian restaurant nearby was a highlight for me, and I would highly recommend the buffet breakfast at the sister hotel. 😊

Rooms

I found the room to be well-appointed but quite small, which is typical for Tokyo. It was just challenging to manage my luggage in the limited space.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Monterey Lasoeur Ginza. The location is fantastic, close to shops and Tokyo station, making it easy to explore the area. However, my room was tiny and felt cramped, like a small cabin on a cruise ship. The breakfast at their sister hotel was decent, but the service was hit or miss, and the hard bed didn't make for a comfortable stay.

Rooms
6.0
The room was compact and had a charming decor reminiscent of the 1920s, but it was quite tiny and lacked space for my luggage. The bed was very firm, which made it hard to sleep comfortably.
Service
6.0
The staff were polite but not particularly friendly. I encountered some hiccups with the breakfast reservations and air conditioning, which could have been handled better.
Location
10.0
The location was wonderful, just a short walk to Tokyo station and surrounded by great shops and restaurants. This aspect really added value to my stay.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast at the sister hotel offered a gourmet experience, with a peaceful European café vibe. However, I found the reservation system a bit inconvenient.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel had some elegant touches, the facilities felt outdated and the air conditioning wasn't working properly during my stay.
